Liptovský Ján is one of the finest starting points for adventure in the heart of Liptov. From Villa Victoria guesthouse everything is just a few minutes away, in summer and in winter alike.

Thermal water parks and wellness

The thermal water parks Bešeňová and Tatralandia are only a few kilometres away. In Liptovský Ján itself you will also find smaller thermal springs.

Hiking and the Nízke Tatry

The hiking trails of the Nízke Tatry (Jánska dolina, Ďumbier, Chopok) begin right beyond the village. You will find routes for families as well as for demanding hikers.

Caves

The area is home to accessible caves (the Stanišovská cave right in the Jánska dolina valley), an ideal trip even on a hot day.

Skiing

In winter the ski resorts Jasná Nízke Tatry, Tále and smaller family slopes are within easy reach, appreciated by beginners and children alike.

Cycle routes and Liptovská Mara

The region is crossed by a network of cycle routes around the Liptovská Mara reservoir, where you can also enjoy water sports.
